I am a BSNL Wimax customer from Chengalpattu ( BSNL Chennai Telephones) - BSNL Wimax connection is not working from 9th March 2013 - I have contacted the AE at Chengalpattu for this problem many many times an till date (8th April 2013) Nothing has been done. .
When i contacted Mr Shanker AE BSNL Chengalpattu, he Says :
1. Marine Optic Cable near Mumbai waters is damaged/cut and so the internet speed is at dead slow ( wimax connects at 1kbps speed). This problem is a common problem and it will be resolved.
- But please note that the speed has not improved in one months time. still it take 39 mnts to download 1MB file.
2. The service engineers from the third party which installed wimax equipment says that BSNL has not paid them the agreed amount till date ( nearly INR 2 crore rupees) and their engineers have skipped the company as it struggles to pay its engineers due to the Non payment from the BSNL . This has created the problem.
3. But the Core Engineer in ORISSA - when i contacted them on telephone they she said that the whole of Internet in India has been HAcked and that the reason for slow and that has been cleared on 01/04/2013. But still my internet speed is same.
4. One more Core Engineer in Orissa said that all the common problem have been solved and the Internet in India is working well and my problem is with the local connectivity at Chengalpattu tower, but the local BSNL at Chengalpattu has no qualified trained engineers in wimax technology and it has no staff to attend to it. and they even do not have a complaint system for wimax connection.
- SO PLAESE ANY ONE WHO PLANS TO TAKE WIMAX CONNECTION WITH BSNL CHENNAI TELEPHONE _ PLEASE AVOID
PLEASE DO NOT TAKE WIMAX CONNECTION FROM BSNL WIMAX
