Default Will Speed Of Unlimited Plans Increase ?

Current speed for UL900 or UL900 Plus is 256 Kbps. This is very very slow for Unlimited Plan users. I hear bsnl will increase speed of business plans up to 8mbps (thats right eight MBPS). Don't U think Home UL speed should also INCREASE to atleast 1 MBPS ?????

2008 will bring some goodies especially for Delhi and Mumbai as both reliance wimax and mtnl wimax are going to be launched very soon, with this development all the prices are bound to move in one direction and that is SOUTH

I am hoping that this competetion becomes more intense and isps start providing better speeds for lesser prices

Default who knows

i am also an unlimited user of BSNL and eagerly waiting for some new schemes, heck i am even ready to pay more than 900 for some UL plan of 512,1mbps or 2mbps. hope they will freely increase bandwidth for UL users or introduce some other UL plan of greater speeds.

Keep your fingers crossed as every new year bsnl used spring a surprise or two, last year increasing speed and reducing price, let's hope they come up with even super cool offer to start the new year with a bang. I have a something in mind tells that this year the offer is going to be what you have wished in this thread.

Well it is not the problem of the speed but i think the problem is with there plans. If we have high speed and limited free bandwith then we are going to land up with huge bills just like i was going thorough with BSN broadband.

if they increase the speed of night unlimited to atleast 768kbps ill change my data plan!!i miss downloading what i want when i want thts the only thing i miss abt comming from aboard(and the chicks ofcourse)!!i think bsnls plan to increase(if they are increasing) the limitedplans speed to 8mbits is a dirty trick to make money!!imagine if sum1 computer doesnt automatically disconnect at 8am!!and the guy wakes up at 9 to realise his comp downloaded 4BGs extra!!thts 4000rs in an hour!!

y does bsnl hav to keep caps anyway!!u either unlimited data at limited speeds or amazing speeds with limited data!!y cant the isps in india do what every other country in the world is doing?

I am not asking for 2 mbps or more, but i would expect at least to 512 kbps to 1 mbps for the unlimited users, because i am hardly reaching 128 kbps with the current 256 mbps they are offering. This way i would at least reach 256 kbps which is enough at least for now. They should come with new announcements this new year, i guess.

Well i would just suggest you one thing and that is with high speed never go with limited data because the free bandwidth companies are offering us with these speed can be used within 2 hours.

Question

I just hope the speed increase between 512kbps to 1mbps. While downloading a torrent I can hardly upload anything cause upload-speed is 7kbps on average. Its very difficult to download large files. Lots of websites does'nt support resume like rapidshare & megaupload.

I am sure admin that this would happen soon. Just let them cover the areas the are targeting and once it is done they would surely lower the prices to cut other companies market share.
