Default Do this thing at first for a stable connection...

I fixed my cousin's connection in this way. He was having frequent disconnections since he got the broadband even if all the technical values were good and DSL was always stable. He told me this and I opened the modem page and found all the PVCs were active. I deactivated them one by one except that with VPI-VCI= (0-35) as it was BSNL. Thats it. He didn't have a single disconnection since then. So do not leave all the PVCs active except that associated with your ISP. That makes your modem made for only your ISP

Then your connection is faulty. Check SNR margin and attenuation values from the modem BIOS page. The SNR margin may be under 10dB.
