Thread: help speed problem

im using the bsnl home 500 plan and everything was going gr8.I playing some online game and later i restarted my pc and my speed in download suddenly went down to 600kbps from 1980kbps, upload remains same.PLZ anybody knows a sollution?

It happens most of the time, you shouldn’t have had to restarted it if you are getting that much speed, as it happens rarely especially with BSNL, I have experienced such speed spikes and will not alter anything as long as I can and will not restart or shut down my pc for some time. I use up most of that speed by downloading as much as I can. I guess, there is nothing we can do about the speed, except tweaking your modem settings a bit, but that too will only increase a bit not at the level you are talking about.
