Default An Issue with the Speed of BSNL Connection

I have had a sudden slowness in my speed of my connection with BSNL without any reason and when I asked the BSNL tech guys about it, they told me that if you are using any additional phones or cordless with my main phone you will be experiencing the decrease in speed. Yes, I do use a cordless and another connection in another room from the same bsnl landline which also connects the modem.

Is this really true that if you get decrease in speed if you have more phone connection or cordless or the bsnl is trying to wash off their mistakes by saying such excuses?

Yes dude its true. If u are using parallel lines it may affect ur connection. try using a splitter in all the parallel connections

i dont think it's affecting regardless how many phones you have on the same line and i got 6 for each room as well.
as long as the phone/line is not in use, your speed is going nowhere.
this is a ridiculous reason to cover their weakness.

I think it affects your speed if u use more than i telephone line connected to your two splitter as the splitter is not made to handle more than 1 telephone!!

anyways get a 1 way splitter for all your telephones!!its not gonna cost much anyway!!100-200rs max!!

Hello, try the splitter at the start point, ie: from the splitter phone out jack, connect your all room phone parallel and other should be to the adsl modem. If u wish to split the adsl modem line the use a splitter of higher capacitor (ask an electrical or electronics expert) , so that there will be no voltage fluctuate while u use phones. These are the steps I performed today, as my line was give a noise while I switched on the modem. Use a branded splitter.

    Tell me if resolved.

My dear friend just use logic. Do you still think that "xwhyz" still has the problem he mentioned almost 2 YEARS AGO, if he had he would have done proper followup with his thread.
