Thread: Speed Increase... Seeing is Beliving

Well i did a speed test at around 3pm and was getting 4349kbps and got so excited!! now am getting only 3mbps but its definitely better than the 1.5-1.7 mbits i was getting before

Where did you conduct the speed test. Is it from the bsnl's site itself? If yes, that is not at all reliable, as they tend to show only high values most of the time but in reality they are not. If you have checked this on any other third-party software or tools or sites, then this is really great, you are lucky i should say.

i took the speed test from speedtest.net and utorrent downloaded 5.4GB's from 2-8 during night unlimited!!hopefully they increase the data limit from 2.5gb to 5gb!!coz its gonna finish very fast in 4-8mbit connection

Now thats what I call good speed in India.. but then again data transfer limits f*ck up the pleasure of having such good speeds...

my max upload/download for a day is around 5.5Gbs

this generally happens when bsnl is testing their new lines [ 8mbps this time i guess] .. even i xperienced sudden increase in bandwidth just b4 bsnl launched their 2mbps lines !!

im from trivandrum,kerala!!and even i think they are testing the service coz my snr margins hav gone from ~6000kbps to arounf 9800kbps!!
also the officer called and asked if i want to apply for iptv!!

my snr margins show 861kbps upload speed constantly so i think 768kbps is the max upload speed i can get in kerala!!
