Default Modem password automatically reset to default value?

    Hey guys!
Yesterday I changed my zxdsl 831AII modem's configuration password from the default value only to find it was reset to the default 'admin' password today? Is there a possibility of account being misused?

    Default

Yes some one could use your internet connection in that case by taking off any security password you may have set up for wifi (if you have) .

It is advisable to change the default password and also set up wifi security.

Just4kix has very kindly prepared a step by step guide on how to do that just use the search function and take your pick
