Yeh thats great news indeed.. The 12gb limit for a 8mbps connection and that too for Rs 2000 is pretty good as compared to what airtel is offering.

I am sure there will be a price cut on airtel's 8mbps offering or else they will loose out on business
At last good news for the consumer and thats us

Well on my presnet 256 kbps connection i download more then 12 GB easily and with 8 mbps line i would be near 100 GB atleast. I hope we would see some unlimited plas soon.

hmm 12 gb on 8mbps is funny , however ssly much better than what airtel offers...i have seen that only bsnl takes initiatives....bsnl started 256k unltd which later mtnl and airtel started offering...so this might just be the start...

That is indeed a great news. But are they offering any unlimited plan for 8 mbps? Then it would be even great. Why no one is coming forward with such plans. They also try to introduce more speeds for home users too, who are the major subscribers of bsnl rather than business, who mostly opt for airtel or other isp.

Well if you look at their plans then i think you would that it is also expensive. I dont think that paying such a big amount for this speed is a resonable thing. I hope to see unlimited plans form them in this line.

I dont own any business right now but it is good that BSNL has launched the 8 mbps connection and if they have done it in the commercial sector then i am sure that they would also do this in residential sector very soon.

I have given my application for 8 mbps connection for my office and i think it would really be a great thing to have such a high speed connection. Waiting for it to get operational.
