For your problems, try the following: a) Setup UT300R2U in PPPoE mode. b) For DNS settings in UT300R2U, instead of using "automatic" enter the openDNS server values (forgot the IP address; check them in this forum using forum search) c) Setup your Surecom wireless in bridge mode. Post your results.

Rep Power: 0 | If you are not logged in, the forum would not allow you to download the file (attachments) correctly. This feature seems to be common with most of the forums. The only problem is it does not complain anything while downloading the file, but the file you download is not complete indeed. @just4kix - Thanks for this article and also for the TWO articles on the Wireless security. Rep Power: 0 |  You are of great help Friend, You are doing a great service. thanks for that. I want to move to BSNL broadband wireless. My doubt is if I switch off the MOdem (ie Pwer to it ) after my work will it be possible to others to connect to my connection. Of course I will do al that you have suggested. But on top of it if I swithc off will it be more safe or even we switch off the modem others will be able to access my modem. Thanks |

Rep Power: 2 | which modem do you have? there are two ways of configuring.. 1) you use a dialer to connect to the internet.
