    Default HUAWEI Sterlite SmartAX MT841

    Hi,
    I have a BSNL-Huawei Sterlite SmartAX MT841.I have 3 laptops and 1 laptop at home.How can I use all these with the above modem to share files and internet connection.

    I have Two P.C I hav HUAWEI STERLITE Modem But I can't Acces The Internet At The Sam Time In Two P.C !1 Pleas Say me How Can I >>/? Replay on jaysinhp@gmail.com

    @jaysinhp

    1.connect one by one each PC, to the
    LAN port of the modem
    and check both work.

    2. Ifyou have a USB port in your modem try
    the cable for a desktop.

    3.If your modem has extra LAN1 ,2 ,3 ,4
    get another Rj45 and connect to second computer.
    ethernet port.

    4. If your modem has WIFI no need for a cable.

    5.In the modem enable DHCP
    In computer/s
    in TCP/IP properties
    select
    Obtain IP address automatically.

    6. still problem
    post the following data

    START RUN type cmd type ipconfig /all
    (* note space after ipconfig )

    7.Delete your email address to avoid spam

    does your internet work as soon as you switch on your modem? or do you use a dialer to connect to the internet?

    i have Complied The task.But now I have New Desktop computer having Windows 7 orating system.So i need Sterlite SmartAX MT841 USB driver. which support Windows 7.And i don't have Ethere net card so Only USB is available option for me.

    Welcome back after almost one year !

    Better buy an ethernet card compatible for Windows 7. ( Netgear may cost about Rs 200 to 300)
    Do you have the WLAN PCMCIA card for MT841?

    So i need Sterlite SmartAX MT841 USB driver. which support Windows 7

    Download from here.
    SmartAX MT-841 ADSL MODEM (Type-III) MENU
    Save it to say C:/My Documents/MT841 usb driver.

    restart system after connecting modem via USB cable.
    Let windows 7 detect new Hardware.
    Ask for drivers.
    Load from above location.
    Get warning message about security certifricate.
    Ignore try your luck.
    Computer may crash "BSOD"!!!

    COULD I BE ABLE TO CONFIGURE MY STERLITEax MT841 to my reliance network
    i tried to configure settings but i failed .... how to access WiFi through this modem .... ter is wlan indicator in this product ...i am not able to connect

    MT841. Have you inserted the wlan card in the modem ?

    a 802.11b/g PCMCIA wireless card
    (ModelSmartAX MT841 Accessory/WCBG03H PCMCIA Wireless Card
