Default Help on Connecting with Two Modems

    Hi,

I have BSNL Broadband connection(Huwai modem) connecting thru Ethernet cable. I bought new modem since i wanted to access the internet in my laptop from I floor of my home. Before buying the second modem, i accessed through Wireless router(D-Link router configured with Huwai modem). But the problem is i'm not getting the signal continuosly, most of the time signal wont be there.

So, i bought another modem (D-link 502T) to use it from my I floor. Now the problem is i can not simultaneosly use it from I floor and ground floor. How to establish the connection simultaneously?

I have connected these two modems through a splitter from the main telephone line.

Can these problem be solved? Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Nathan.

You can use only one modem at a time. If your line is conected from one modem and at the same time if you try to connect the line using another modem you will get error 676. This is not possible. The only thing you can do is that. Buy a network switch and extend your LAN to use BB simulteniously

Please do something about old threads.
Better lock it say after one month or so.
ANY way most users start their own threads ,
    for the same subject.
