Question How do I switch between plans?

I am using a 250 startup plan now. I would like to switch to 500C plan. I have paid from may 1 2007 to may 1 2008 using the annual discount option. Can I switch now or do I have to wait till it ends?

You can switch - no problem. Just pay the difference.

Give a written application (or fill up the migration form) and pay the difference like just4kix has mentioned.

Yes but after you are done with the application and all make sure that your plan has been changed for sure before you go full blast on torrents I have read a lot of members here being charged for downloads just because some lazy ass bsnl employee never changed their plan and they kept on billing according to the old plan

The bsnl guys took an entire month to fix my connection. So I'm definitely making sure before going all out. Thanks for the tip anyway. :

Usually the plan change is implemented on the succeeding month only, to avoid billing problems

I think you have to write them a letter to The Commercial Officer of your nearest office. And the plan comes to effect from next month
