Angry Bsnl broadband changes plans , 2250 uld plan removed and new plans added

I am worried because my plan 2250 uld plan which was 4 mbps till 175 gb has been removed and I don't want to change my plan . Although new plans have been added they are far less vfm. I just logged into my selfcare and it still showing the same plan. Is it possible that they have just removed the plan for new users. How can I know , I don't want to call them because they might change the plan then.

From the past experiences it would be safe to assume that this plan has been discontinued just for new users. BSNL has closed down night unlimited before even for existing users but that was one of incident I guess. If they want to change old customer's plans they would have to communicate to you regarding this which they haven't yet. Keep an eye on their circulars and any emails they send you and it would also be wise to keep an eye on your portal to see if the plan remains the same.

Government is looking to privatize BSNL so they are trying to make the business more profitable so they can get a better price when they float an IPO.
