i have been using Bsnl Broadband for 2 years now and everything has been going great. For all of you wanting to take internet connection and having doubts over it ...please don't hesitate to take along with it..
It will really rock the internet by its mindblowing speed...

but keep in mind bsnl is not for every1!!u need a lot of good luck,patience & its best if u hav a lot of relatives working in bsnl!!hehe

please ask around in your neighborhood to see how long it took others to get their connection,then only proceed!!and go there in person to apply for your connection,talk to the local exchange officer(if he thinks he's god then run for your life and apply for another connection)

Well I am not sure about how other Broadband fares, however I must admit that i am really impressed with BSNL. (Things have changed, Govt babus have started to work )

As far as i am concerned i did not have to go personally and hunt for someone in BSNL to get the connection going.

I applied for the BSNL connection online (Sify was then my ISP) some time in Nov 07...i don't remember the date. Come this December, BSNL was at my door step with the entire kit. They installed every thing in a jiffy, I had to wait for two more days for User name and Pass and wallah....it was on.

I recommend BSNL, you may want to chose some other ISP, ONLY IF they have some rocking plans in place and a Stable Connection.(u will have to do some research locally)

BSNL gets 8 out of 10 from me as a customer.

Lastly, I appreciate every one in this forum, for the efforts they put in for helping out others in every possible way.

but buddy i got my bsnl connection 20 days ag oand the downloading speed is only 30-32 KBps(on 900plan which says unlimited connection) but another person in my neighbourhood having same plan gets speeds upto 150-220KBps.I told the bsnl on the very same day and has logged my complaint many times but nobody listens

I too agree with you. Its really heartening to see someone here is posting good thing about BSNL, whereas most of them here were complaining about how govt. babus work but the infrastructure that bsnl is really amazing and the only part that they lag is the customer service part, they shd improve it.

my brother has bsnl ul 256 kbps...and it's down almost 10 to 15 hours a day...but i must say the uploading speed is better than any isp,he got his connection in 4 n a half months!!!!!!!

BSNL rocks surely.I am on H500 Plan.Stable download speed.I got my connection in 8 clear days as I took the connection without modem
