    Nothing can get me inside the bsnl portal. also where did u get the portal id from?? I got a portal id by registering on bsnl portal!

    The portal id is provided by the BSNL staff when they call you to give your broadband login details, callback them and get your ID.

    it works with firefox for me,but the problem is their sever is down every three days or so!!

    but im not worried too much as im switching to unlimited from feb!!if they dont increase the speed for home 500!!
    life will move slower, but it will be tension free!!freedom!!

    In many place, toll free number "1957" is available for boradband problems. Or you can get actual phone number of the concerened person by contacting general information numbers like 1991 or 1500.

    To check the usage, Every one should have a portal ID and password , which should be supplied by BSNL people , to access the portal. Even when ID and password are correct, the site is giving blank page. I think Customer interfaces are still under modifications, Try log-in after sometime.

    The portal id and password will give a blank page, only of they are not activated by BSNL. Give it sometime, they should be activating it shortly.

    Hi All,

    I have 3 BSNL connections (2 in office and 1 at home). Received 3rd one just recently. This is with bsnl.in domain and has different type of IP addresses.
    eg: 117.200.175.12, 117.200.172.19

    I was contacted a BSNL officer responsible for my area. He took a long time to issue a Portal ID. He told me that they generally send an email with a portal ID and password but it never arrived.

    This is what I received from BSNL. Lets assume my user ID is "ozidesi"

    At the time of installation braodband ID and password was issued.

    Broadband ID: ozidesi
    Broadband Password : password

    This allowed me to use broadband, access BSNL.in email, but not to check my usage.

    Today he finally called me to issue the portal ID. It looks something like this

    "ozidesi80906122007"

    if you split this

    ozidesi 809 06122007
    <username><three digits><date of connection>

    I don't know based on what those three digits are (in this case 809)

    And, I can access this only in IE. It doesn't work in FF.

    it is actually only first 3 letters of username.

    So that will be

    it is becoming a headache for me that i cant get the past tacks of my net usage most of times it is not opening the page, when it is opend it shows blank data base. please dont try to change ur password that may bocome another headache for u....

    Default New Broadband usage monitoring

    With the portal ID given by BSNL I can only get the billed usage....when I click the unbilled usage, I get a message that 'No datal is available.'...What does it mean, my daily usage are not getting accounted and I an keep on using the broadband without the fear of overbilling.....or is it that they dont show the unbilled daily usage, which is a vital data to monitor the daily usage, so that the usage doesnot cross the limit, resulting in exhorbitent bill. Can anyone tell me how to findout the daily usage and the MB left, so that I can use the broadband without the fear of additional billing....????

    I think unbilled usage is delayed or there is server problem. I get usage upto Jan 2nd only.

    it doesnt work in my firefox,but tried using latest IE too....nothing works !!
    mine is a very old connection but they automatically changed my username n password as there was some technical change done in my exchange.....they gave me a portal id too but i am not getting a PAGE to enter the portal id and password !
    the server is always down

    not able 2 check thru dataone usage finer too
    serious situation..seems like bsnl is playing trick !!
    we cant check usage,so either they can bill us heavily or they will benefit as our usage is far far below the normal usage........ BSNL sucks in this matter !
    authorities are care free about this thing which is not a matter of head ache for de officials as the dataone CONNECTION is alrite ,de only thing they are worried !

    Yea, the new portal id and password wont work on the traditional usage finders. They have to activate your portal id and password on the usage checking portal, then only u will be able to view the account usage.

    The new Portal ID and Password has started working....but still u are kept in dark in respect of the actual usage....full usage is not shown...usage only upto 2nd Jan has been shown, as on 15th Jan......no idea how to keep the usage within limit.....

    hey, i'm also facing the same problem. it appears that records of 10 days back only are visible... yesterday, i could see the usage till 3rd of jan and today, till 4th of jan.............................

    hi, there are 2 types of accounts are in operation in bsnl. one type of account can be accessed with the portal ID. Other type can be accessed with the braodband user name and password itself. If u are starting from Dataone WebMail and clicking the 'account usage check link it' will redirect to the correct page.

    portal id can be generated bu user also...........

    u have to click on sign up link and enter the fields ............... u dont have to wait for their response........

    Due to port-binding one can use the account only through only one particular telephone connection subscribed. Is there any way to tide over this problem so that u can use your account on any BSNL ADSL telephone line ... I feel BSNL should allow this, as the account is user name and password protected, so that wherever u r, u r able to use your own broadband account ..... and dont have to rely on others

    how secure is the account.....i havent changed my account password from password......how to make sure the account is secure?? i have changed the router password from admin.. is that enough to ensure my account is safe?? i heard that if i try to change pass it might be an other headache....
    but some one on orkut claims...

    Have u tried "DataOne- Bandwidth v2.8.1" ???

    I tried to login in above page several times but not successful. I got the Portal ID from BSNL. When i use portal ID and password, and click it shows in adress bar ----

    when my connection is activated they give me only bsnl user id and password how can i get my portal id .......i talk to my local exchange for the portal id id but they nothing know about thie portal id please help me

    so u mean that my user id and password which was give to by bsnl is my portal id !!!!!!!!!..... but i tried it again...i typed my id and password on this page BSNL - Broadband Account Management but after clicking onthe tad submit i grt a complete blank page......i am very confused about the user id,portal id,.......i also tried to oped this page but again unsucsessfull...... plz help me

    I have accessed the webpage, filled in the portal id provided by BSNL staff after entering the userid and password, I am not able to see any details on the next page.

    Even I got the message that this website requires to place cookie in system, that I have accepted.

    I am using IE 7.0..

    Any recommendations on how to see the usage details on BSNL portal?

    ~~~~~~BSNL BROADBAND SUCKS~~~~~~~~

    is this a plan of BSNL to not let us know our usage to get more money outta our pockets.

    its really frustrating- i got my broadband in December and have no idea how much my download was since then. you cant login , call customer care and they say the website is under "repair", always !!

    can anyone help?

    You guys don't have to worry about the bills. Just check your regular BSNL bills for any spikes and if you notice foul play by BSNL, just take the matter to the billing department and they will do the needful.

    A free broadband usage meter will also help you regulate your daily usage

    Dear friends,
    bsnl broadband working great now a days without any problem,If u get any problems first check the problems on your side then go for the complaint.
    if the problem is in your side then no one from bsnl will help you,you have to solve the problem yourself like i did.
    bsnl problems and solutions:
    1. if you get user name password invalid error

    login to the bsnl portal id and change the broadband password and reconfigure your modem with new password and try it should work.

    2. if you are unable to check your account usage then

    go for bbservice.bsnl.in and then try (using internet explorer.)

    this is the problem most of the users getting genarally.

    I have tried all the three portals http://p3hosting.bsnl.in:9080/BroadBandCustomerPortal/
    http://bbservice.bsnl.in/
    BSNL Portal

    I couldn't get data on any. P3hosting opens but shows no usage records, bbservice displays a blank page when i log in on the third one it doesn't open at all. I met Commercial officer today he said i can see my usage on data.bsnl.in

    But this page doesn't open at all, i tried them in Internet Explorer and Firefox. When i called him and said its not working, he started fighting and told me i didn't knew how to open the damn thing. I am a Network Administrator and he was giving me lessons on how to open a webpage. Well i had a fight, he said he can't do anything, i have lodged a complaint at 1500. But i don't think these damn government officers will do anything.

    All i wanna say is BSNL SUCKS

    U can use opera browser if ie not working.
    U can check ur usage details using BSNL NIB-II PORTAL. It should work, If u r not satisfied with that website u can use du meter or watchwan like softwares that will monitor ur usage details and it will give u daily usage report too. I suggest u to use du meter v 3.5. U can stay calm. Dont depend on bsnl websites and bsnl guys. they r not updating usage details regularly. if u have more doubts u can ask ur questions through this forum. We r here to help each other.

    USE DU METER V 3.5 AND STAY COOL FOR EVER. U can also use du meter v 4.0 for better options.
    (dont give complaints to bsnl because we can solve the problems very easy before they do).Dont put urself into stress!.
    Bsnl officers will help 10%
    Bsnl users will help 90%
    contact bsnl users not bsnl officers.
    This is rajmohan for u (i am very much satisfied with bsnl broadband).

    One of our friend has given step by step procedure to access the bsnl Usage details. I hope that will solve ur problems.
    As other friend told,
    broadband id is different from portal id and password may be same for both initially unless u change it.
    broadband id may be the name like - sachin.bsnl.in
    initial password is - password
    portal id may be like - sac12301032008
    password is - password
    bsnl webmail id is same as broadband id and password also same for both.
    but when u want to change password u have to change for each one separately.
    After changing ur passwords , broadband password may be different from portal id password and webmail password.
    there are four passwords used for bsnl dataone service including modem password.
    To avoid this kind of problems u can use bandwidth monitoring softwares available all around.(If your free limit is 2.5 gb then use only upto 2.4 gb).

    I think there is nothing more to clear about usage detail problem.
    U can ask about strange problems.

    Whenever i use my phone internet disconnects (bsnl dataone broadband) , why this happens?
    I use only one splitter(filter)at the entry point of main phone line and i use two parallel phone line from the splitter as someone already explained in another post but still the problem remains in my home,.
    Do i need to use splitter for each and every point of my phone line?!!!
    i have two phone in parallel, I will get important phone calls often but at the same time internet also important for me.
    I want to use both phone and internet at same time.
    please someone help me to fix this problem?

    This is the wrong thread for your problem rajmohan. Please post a new thread with your problem.

    Anyways, I have been told that BSNL broadband doesn't work very well with parallel phone lines. The solution for you might be to use only the main phone line while using the internet. I have noticed that even picking up the parallel phone disconnects the internet. And yes, also try a splitter for each and every phone line in your house. I hope it solves your problem.

    you have to install java virtual machine or u have to install atleast java run time environment. i hope this will fix ur problem. java virtual machine or java runtime environment can be downloaded from the web for free. i hope u understand.

    Unhappy contact 1957 for getting ur portal id

    bsnl portal id and user id are different. I was also having the same problem. i contacted bsnl sancharnet 1957 and they gave a new portal id. mine is kut xxx xxxxxxxx. last 8 digits is the date of connection.i have taken connection on june 2007. but bsnl is giving the date of connection as 19022008(19th feb 2008). there is some problem in the view account usage which even the bsnl staff is not able to identify. I am not able to access the previous months usage info(the site shows previous 5 months usage can be viewed).even the current month usage is mentioned from 19th march onwards and the total billed usage is only 780 MB which is wrong. I dont know why the bsnl keeps on modifying the sites like mohamed bin tuklag.

    My lovely dataone users please never depend on bsnl portal for usage details, You must use third party softwares (like watchwan ,du meter etc)
    to get up-to-date and complete record of your usage details.
    For more details You read all previous threads in this website.U search deeply and u will get what u want to know.
    Bsnl is doing things to solve the customers problem, i hope many common problems will have been fixed in near future.
    LOOK ALL PREVIOUS POST BEFORE POSTING COMMENTS.

    I WAS ONE OF THE UNSATISFIED CUSTOMER OF THE BSNL DATAONE BEFORE FEW MONTHS BUT AFTER UNDERSTANDING ABOUT DATAONE, I AM ABLE TO FIX ALL THE PROBLEMS MYSELF AND I AM ABLE TO KEEP MYSELF COOL.
    NO PRIVATE NETWORK IS PROVIDING CHEAP AND FAST BROADBAND LIKE BSNL NOW.
    SO GET IT AND ENJOY IT JUST BLINDLY ACCEPT FEW NEGATIVE POINTS.

    I know that there are a lot of complaints against BSNL regarding the portal access to data.bsnl.in and i can understand that , but the problem is like any other software , this is also under starting stage and they never had time to throughly test and implement all the requires modules.

    This site is evolving by the feedback given from various officers who are using this site to update the data.

    and the problem with this site not opening or being slow is overload as many customers access this server in a day apart from updations and entries done for acount creations

    this was what i was told by BSNL Staff

    Default April usage not showing

    Hi,
    I got new connection in the mid of march. I was able to see my data usage in the portal using my portal id.

    But usage data in april is not available till today, it says 'No Usage Records Found For APR-2008". In march data usage was always updated till previous day.

    i have username and password to login but not know the portal ID plz tell how to know my portal ID

    portal id is a 14 character id.. if you havent received it yet.. you might want to go to the nearest customer care and ask for it
