Thread: VoIP With BSNL

Dear All,

Please let me know if BSNL Allows softphone. If they bloc the port used for the purpose , is there a workaround

None of the isps in India block voip any more. Soft phones work just fine with bsnl.. I have checked skype and stanaphone myself about two months back.

For me Yahoo! PC to Phone and PC to PC talking works. So does Skype Video. I found Skype better for video/audio communications.

My friend has also installed a VOIP Phone (no idea which) over BSNL BB; but there were lot of istallation issues earlier.
