    This procedure is for MT880:

    Goto ATM Setting
    Set
    Connection Type: PPP
    PPPoA/PPPoE: PPPoAPPPoE
    Username: <your user name>
    Password: <your password>
    Use DNS: Enabled

    Now Submit this
Then click on small Magnifier glass icon in the last in front of Status, a new window will open, in then windows click on Always On and then submit

    Then click on
    Other Setting->DNS
    here set the following:

    DNS Relay: Enable
    Primary DNS Server: 61.1.96.69
    Secondary DNS Server: 61.1.96.71

Now you need to setup your network
Go to Internet Protocol Properties and set the following:

@neil, it will be difficult to guide you step by step as I do not have the guide; and the guide also may be outdated (to an extent). There are many posts on PPPoE configuration for different routers. I will advise to read them and learn the concepts and basics.

Your modem screens will be different but most of the things will be similar.

in siemens c2110 modem go to configuration-->internet.there you should see 6 connections with bridge_0_35 as the last connection.click on red pencil(edit)in front of it & you can change the connection type from bridge to pppoe.rest is self explanatory.don't change any other setting if it is already working in bridge mode.you just need to enter your bsnl username/password(without @bsnl.in i think) for pppoe mode.
