Thread: Problem of Disconnection in internet in Home500

Hello Friends,

I am new user. Recently I got Home 500 broadband plan on my BSNL form.

it worked fine first 2-3 days. Now from few days I am facing a problem.

Internet get disconnected after every 5-10 minutes and connecting the internet after disconnection is also a very tedious task. Because I have to try more than 5-6 time again to connect Intenet.

But I have notice one thing, Whenever Internet get disconnected same time green light of DSL on Modem becomes off. Internet connects only when DSL light becomes stable again.

So what could be the reason behind this and how this problem arise and what is the solution for this.

ask ur lineman to check ur phone line.
seems some problem with adsl link. got same problem frm last 15 days

dsl indicator stands for the connection status between modem and corresponding equipment installed in telephone xchange, if it fails conection to the isp fails most probebly fault due is to line resistance , earth lakage,and line impedence. resistance should not exceed specific value pl. avoid joints in telephone line.

connect a wire from wall dp sright away to adsl splitter with out any joints . you should connect telephones only from splitter phone jack.

then only u can enjoy the fault free conectivity and full band width
