hey guys, i had severe problems on Bridge mode... so just check whether your connections works good @ PPPoE mode... once i changed, everything was back to normal, but big problem :-D.... gettin up @ 2 :-p

in PPPoE mode, there is no reconnection problem, only the MODEM Auto connects with server directly. problem is that if when we schedule Utorrent @ 2AM while keeping the connection alive(IP allocated,no browsing), damn UTORRENT sucks in tat! it sucks away 150- 200 MB before 2 AM!!
have seen this for months, dunno how it happens but it does. any1 with same problem ?

my average speed varies... if seeds are fast, 214KBPS(down)/55KBPS(up) in utorrent,
    using Bandwidth monitor PRO(BW monitor) 1.x ------ 240KBPS down / 55KBPS up

Simply turn off utorrent autostart at start up(inside utorrent),just schedule it to run through windows scheduler at 2:15 or so,in that way it'll not start downloading before 2:15,problem solved.

many users have reported this increase in upload speed for home 900 plan.may be they are upgrading the speeds of 900 plan.

    My torrents are also showing:

    Download speeds: 18 KB/s to 34 KB/s - average at 26/27 KB/s
Upload Speed: When pure seeding - 32 to 35 KB/s; 10 KB/s when downloading (I set it this way).

    My plan is UL 900+.

p.s. I do not download too much

    wah..a penny for your thoughts

now why didnt i think of that ?? ... well i did the configuration for utorrent in schedule tasks, but Wth ! utorrent sucks hightime with nagging Re-initilization confirmations and some **** sayin "this is free program,......." hope u have experienced it too...
without the confirmations "ok", download doesnt start !!! wasted 3 hrs(5 Am manual start!) for tat **** from past 3 days...

any bright ideas to fix nagging confirmations ?? ?

    have configured :
    Peerguardian2 @ 2:04AM(Advanced options- 5 hrs 50 mins timeout), works like a charm,
uTorrent @ 2:05AM(5 hrs 50 mins timeout) , works like annonying BUG to startup

Thanks man for the support,I also don't get such confirmations all the time,I believe it starts as windows service thats why we don't get such confirmations,I have downloaded 79 GBs till date in this month,so I think my plan is fool proof,

I use powershutdown to reboot if my pc is on during 1:55 to 2:00 so that the pc reboots and a new connection is established for night free download

if PC is not on then I have configured my BIOS RTC alarm to turn my PC on at 1:58AM

then I have scheduled to run utorrent to run at 2:04,

IDM is scheduled to start downloading at 2:05,
    it stops at 7:55

my modem connection is closed again and again by powershutdown from 7:55 to 8:00 so that utorrent doesnot download any extra bytes during free and chargable download time slot intersection,

now my pc is ulimately shutdown at 8:01 and I don't have to ven turn on the monitor to watch the download,

The most important thing always sync your PC time with a time server, then everything goes fine like cheese.
I think that explains everything .

Do you have "tweakz ui" ?
It'll help you getting logged in automatically to a particular user in windows.

    hey Tazz...
the best way is to use windows scheduler service
its very flexible and works fine.
i've written some batch scripts for my plan, if you want
    i'll upload them.

    Default @bharatgourabdas..

    Thanks for the scheduler idea

Well, finally fixed it, im using DATAone Quick Usage Finder(DQUF) and modem running in Bridge mode(need ID n Password to login everytime).

Windows scheduler scheduled to run :

    DQUF @ 2 AM
(DQUF auto connects to internet @ 2 :03 AM , Auto Disconnect @ 7:58 AM)

    Peerguardian @ 2:04AM

    utorrent @ 2:05AM
    ------------------------------------------
Sync. the clock with the BSNL local sever and there is no problem.

any 1 want ideas to sync it, i can tell... [ no time Sync. tools required ]

PS : Note to schedule the programs using User name / Password to login in windows and autostart

Question .. can u people tell me how much Max. SPEED you are getting in torrents only with 500+ seeds(no speed testing on some website)?

with 500+ seeds you should be able to get around 150-200KBps assuming 500-1000peers.

Well depends upon the no of seeders,
if you download 8 - 10 torrents at a time with good no of seeders 200-240kilobytes/s is normal.

it seems that some lucky users are getting 250KBps on torrents.i too get around 200-210KBps on torrents & 220-225KBps on direct downloads.
