    Default How To Connect To Internet Simultaniously Using Usb And Lan

    HI, I AM Having BSNL BROAD BAND .AND A D link GLB 502T MODEM IT HAS 1 LAN PORT AND 1 USb .I HAVE TWO PC's So i want to use internet on both of them .so pls guide me how can i do that . a step by step guide will be preferred a lot !!.SINCE THE SECOND COMPUTER IS RENTED TO A SHOP they will be using a DIFFERENT INTERNET ACCOUNT of BSNL BUT BOTH PC's WILL BE USING THE SAME MODEM .I HAVE CABLES TO CONNECT THE PC's I JUST NEED THE SETTINGS

    what do you mean by that?as far as i know you can use only one account on a modem.if you want to share the modem then you have to share your account also.if this is what you want then go to start->all programs->accessories->communications->network setup wizard.then select the first option on the screen which says"this computer connects directly to internet & other computer will access internet by connecting to this computer"

    its possible to use different account !! I had a ustarcom modem i used to do so .but its not working with this one !!

    now bsnl use port binding to check any misuse of accounts.what it means is that your username & password will work only on the telephone line/no. for which you have been given that account.say you got an account with username "xyz" & password "123" for telephone no. 01123456789 then when you connect a modem on this line the only account which will work is the account "xyz".
