i would recommend to you that you should buy the router from your own choice
of manufacturer i.e.not from bsnl, as you have said that you have rs 4k to burn
it is more than enough to buy a flawless router from good manufacturers like Asus,Netgear,Linksys,Buffalo etc.

Because the routers cum modem from these companies have enough firepower that they will simply beat the bsnl router in one go!!!!

Actually, it quite the opposite. He is on a limited budget.

i think 4k means rs 4000/- in his language it is more than enough or sorry if i have misunderstood
