Thumbs down router not accepting its default password

hey gusy, i am so confused as my modem is not accepting its default id/pass (admin/password). i tried many times but not able to do so. i tried resetting the modem but still not able to do so.

Which is your router? Sometimes the default password is not 'admin' but the name of the manufacturer.
