    Hello Archana,

    Welcome to India Broadband Forum.

    Your UTStarCom wi-fi router should work for any ISP. You will need to have the username and password and you can setup a PPPoE connection yourself. The steps are:

    a) Open browser and go to page http://192.168.1.1 or http://192.168.1.2
    b) Login as 'admin'; default password is 'admin'.
    c) The first page that you will see is the Wizard page. Click on the 'Run Wizard' button. If you are not on the 'Wizard' page, click on the 'Wizard' button on the left had side panel.
    d) Click next and set the time zone.
    e) Click next and select 'PPPoE' option.
    f) Click next. In this window set the PPPoE values as follows:
    VPI = 0
    VCI = 35
    Username = Your Sify Username
    Password = Password provided by Sify
    Connection Type = PPPoE LLC
    g) Click next. The setup is completed. Click on the "Restart" icon button.
    h) Wait for the modem to reboot completely.
    i) You are now all set to surf.

    Other settings that are optional but you must do:
    j) Change the router password
    k) Setup WPA security

    1.What is the model/make of WIFI router? ( 3 in 1 ?)
    Also adsl modem if used.

    2.Have you enabled DHCP?

    3.Did you set up the wireless settings in the router?

    4.Does the WIFI network name appear in the Iphone ?
    ( 0r any other secured/unsecured wifi networks?)
