Thread: Tool For Checking The Dataone Usage

Hello Folks
B4 making any further step let me clarify that this tool is not designed/promoted by me.

this is very small utility with whcih u can check urs dataone usage w/o going to actual portals.

I wont go into the details of the software.....will post some screen shots which are self explaining.



1.As shown in above pic u have to enter urs name & pass In the Space provided on main window of the S/W
2.then u can select the url for usage check (i use http://10.240.240.195)

3.after hitting enter it will show u how its proceeding & will display the results in frot of u explained in Screen shots below

I found this tool few months bak while browsing aimless. I think its really safe (using it from 4 months).its developed by a freelancer software developer & its free. Still Use It On UR Own Risk

Mine Pleasure all the way. BTW(by the way) i guess its not a repeat. At the Same Shaplus.com u can find the bandwidth meter also for measuring the speed.But i still recommend using the DU meter. (google it)

I just found this disclaimer from the site:

This tool currently works for dataone accounts with IP address of the type 5x.xx.xx.xx and not for newer accounts with IP address 117.xx.xx.xx . For newer accounts usage checking site is http://data.bsnl.in . To know which IP address you have visit What Is My IP Address? - Lookup IP, Hide IP, Change IP, Trace IP and more...

This looks good at least on paper. As I have found many such tools on the net claiming to give the usage details, etc but I am always skeptical with such tools due to the security concerns, as we need to provide our user name and password, etc. I feel that i will stick with my present DU meter for the same!

Check your real IP address. If it is 117.x.x.x then this tool does not work.

p/s. If your real ip address starts with 117, then it also means that your connection is port-binded.

guys i think just pointed out fact correctly..........even i haven't noticed the disclaimer coz i faced no problem wid it.

Nice tool mate...so that we can check how much gb we have used...

hey guys who told that this tool is not works for 117.x.x.x this is working shaplus has made another tool for 117.x.x.x ips ...checkhis site you can find both diff. tools for 59series and 117 series....

once again download 2nd tool from his site ...its working for newer connections ....... take a look How to find Monthly Dataone bandwidth usage
