Thread: VPN over Broadband

Hi Guys,

Can someone please exlain about VPN over Broadband that BSNL provides.

1) Is it beneficial only if you are linking various officies or is it suitable for one office

2) BSNL website Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd- Latest News mentions the prices for VPN over Broadband. Is this a fixed rate for unlimited usage or you are paying for a broadband plan separately also?

If your office is at one location then I dont see much point to be honest.. If you have an IT department inhouse then there is no need to waste money I think.

If you hire some other IT company to manage your systems and whatever softwares you use then having a vpn would some times make it quicker to sort out the problems remotely. Other then that it all depends what exactly are you trying to achieve and the ROI
