Default 100 hours in first month. Which plan?

    Hi,

I am based in Hyderabad. I am looking for DSL connection with reasonable speed. I will be using in the first month, little about hundred hours. Later it will be like 10 hours a month. Which plan (prepaid will work too) and which provider do you suggest?

    Thanks for help.

I will suggest BSNL's UL900 plan for the first couple of months. After you have downloaded as much as you want, you can switch plan to something cheaper - say Home 250.

Thanks a lot. Sounds a good deal.. as long as they dont create problems downgrading the plan. Also do you think I can get the connection in 3 weeks?

For downgrading or upgrading a plan, a written application has to be submitted and needs close follow-up. But it is done.

Whether you can get connection in three weeks, I cannot say. Depends upon the exchange and modem availability. If you buy your own modem from market instead of from BSNL, I heard that connection is faster. But BSNL will not support your technical queries regarding modem.
