What kind of idiotic remark is that? OK. Congrats that you have got superfast broadband at your hostel. But that is a private leased circuit. I get superfast internet at my office:

Home broadband is a different sector. We can compare apples to apples only.

just to clear your misconception.i was in IIT Roorkee & my institute got a 45mbps connection.i got max. speeds upto 3000KBps or 24000kbps during summer vacation when most of the students are at home.as far as i know among all the IIT's IIT Roorkee has the fastest connection.i don't think any other educational institution in india currently has a faster connection.though i heard kharagpur is upgrading its connection to 100mbps but for now IIT Roorkee got the fastest connection.

Well i think this is a more offtopic than in the BSNL thread......y just ppl cant use some sense & post massages in the rite section........ok tell me y u posted this in BSNL only?? y not in airtel or reliance or sify or hathway......because i think everyone is eager to bang government sectors..lol (kidding)....can admin move this to news & view or to Offtopic
