    my new bsnl broadband connection download speed very bad it shows only 8kbps help i am taken bussiness 700plan .

    Please file a complaint to BSNL.

    You mean the download speed that is shown in the download window that pops up when you actually begin a file download? In that case 8 kBps is actually translates to 64 kbps. This is bad. You should be getting 256 kbps at the minimum but usually between 1 mbps to 2 mbps.

    Note that download speeds are shown in kilobytes whereas plan speed is mentioned in kilobits.
