I have tried with EVDO and speed is good, the download speed I got is in between 125 to 175 (not bad at all)

Hi i am from indore i purcahsed the bsnl evdo i hope you understand my language mujhe usme puri 2.4 mb ki speed nahi mil rahi hain isliye main apne sabhi dosto ko ye batana chahunga ke EVDO na purcahse kare aur agar indore main kisiko EVDO chahiye toh woh mujhse half price main le sakta hain mera contact no. hain

Perviosly i was using BSNL EVDO, and the same was disconnected due non payment. I took the connection on rental bases

Can i use the same BSNL EVDO for new connection or ill i have to pay for the new connnection

Hi , few days ago my friend purchased BSNL Evdo...and that day he sent me an sms saying " OMFG ,EVDO rocks.. I am getting 300kB/s speed(Kilobytes per second)...He also told me that the evdo tower is just above his building

But after 3 days when i asked him how is EVDO going..he said the device is simply not getting detected and now he is frustrated. Plus these dumb BSNL wales not replying to him

So i suggest you dont go for EVDO...it is total flop

well , device not found really doesnt tell much about the CONNECTION more of the device . It could be that his device is broken or his Operating system is corrupted.. i have heard some good reviews of BSNL EVDO in the north..

I am in SALT LAKE while taking the cann. they told me u will get at list 400 kb/ps , for sure
but my speed is
4kb/s up lode
6kb/s down lode..................believe me !!!!!! must do something tomorrow i will return it & i hope i will get my money back .

How will be its signal in Chandigarh Sector 21B, it has two EVDO towers around it and both lie in 1KM aerial radius. So will be its Download Speed????Will it be over 150Kilo Bytes per second.

Will it be faster than BSNL Broadband 2mbps

Heya,

I m based in Kochi, Kerala currently using Tata Indicom Whiz wireless internet. I dont find it good in terms of speed and cost-effective.Besidez the service, I find the rates very expensive than compared to BSNL wirless internet (WLL),which is at Rs.250 + rs 180 for phone rent = Rs.430 per month.

I m currently in theTata Indicom Whiz Rs.325 plan which gives me 30 hours of free internet after which I ll be charged 50p/minute during day time and 25p/minute from 0200-0800 hrs. I dont think Tata Indicom works for me.

I came to know about BSNL's WLL wireless unlimited internet @Rs.250.

I want answers to the following questions -

1.Is the internet speed better than Tata Indicom Whiz?

2.What is the download speed? The download speed for Tata Indicom Whiz ranges from 10Kb to 16kb.On using Download Accelerator,it ranges from 18kb-25kb,but it isnt that fast. Of course,I do understand that it is not broadband(is it?).

3.Since its unlimited internet at Rs.430 per month [Rs.250 + Rs.180(phone rent)],is there extra charge for downloading content from the web like audio or video files or watching YouTube Videos?

4.I have read on many forums that BSNL's WLL wireless unlimited internet @Rs.250 per month is cheap and best. Is it the best in terms of wireless internet?

I have purchased BSNL EVDO Data card , it is mentioned that it works at 2 mpbs speed, but when I connect it , it gets connected at 780 kpbs and at he download rate it shows nearing from 123 kpbs to 480 kpbs but when I download the file it downloas only at 8 kpbs to 30 kpbs speed and even when the connection speed show 1024 kpbs and the download rate even shows 540 kpbs to 640 kpbs the actual download is only 20 kpbs

Its Waste,they people are telling the speed is upto 2.4mbps but its not getting more than 150kbps in Coimbatore locations and all..Cheating
