Default need tips about using uTorrent efficiently

i have read many & i do mean many guides about optimizing uTorrent.however i get speeds ranging from 110-190KBps with torrents having large no. of seeders & leachers.i only uses public torrents & many persons claimed here of speeds of ~240KBps with upload rate of only 10-20KBps.

if anyone is able to download >190KBps for good seeded public torrents please post your settings here like no. of connections, upload rate,dl rate limits etc.

Default U Need to Open Ports

U need to open the ports in your router,
u need to assign a static ip to ur system,
if ur router support log files u have to disable it,

i have opend the port in my router is 11555,

well i use private trackers only
the best public tracker was demonoid but it has been brought down
rest public trackers failed for me

well for efficient (in utorrent) :

1. set download limit to max downld limit provided by ur plan and upload speed to 80% of ur max d/l speed

2. open the ports in router.. this link will help u Port Forwarding for the UTStarcom UT-300R2U

i uses bridge mode so no port forwarding hassles for me.however i use port 8080.could this be the problem.also how many connections you use for each torrent & max.upload/dl limit for each torrent.

your plan is unlimited & it doesn't matter what you do with ports.also when you said static IP you mean an IP something like this 192.168.x.x which modem assigns to your computer lan.your actual IP is dynamic as BSNL gives only dynamic IP to home customers.this IP will be something like 117.x.x.x if you are a new customer.if you try to download multiple files from rapidshare you can see your actual IP.this is the dynamic IP which BSNL gives to your modem & modem gives someting like 192.x.x.x to your computer.
