Angry BSNL Not working in the Nights...

    Hay All

I am a newbie here....I had recenty got BSNL Broadband and this dam thing really sucks. its not working after 6:00 PM and Its only working after 8:00 AM. I have checked the service status in http://192.168.1.1 and its showing PPD Down / ADSL Link down in that time. the DSL and the Internel link also same when it was working.( DSL - Stable and Internet - Blinking). Can any one tell me why this dam is doing like this. I am in Bangalore.

The best would to get a technical representative of BSNL and he would fix your problem without any problem.

I guess the problem is on your end only, you should register a complaint in someway you can, try online route if possible, they should rectifty it to finish that pending task some day, at least you will get a solution in days! or else the best way to go is to switch to airtel or other pvt isp.

Whts personal in that u think.....its ur Right.....i hate this kind of attitude of the indian consumesr....we ppl always keep justifying that we are misarable...WTF.....can't we have our basic rights even......& if they are not answering u.....u just make them speak....just go to the DGM & ask him hes gonna help u r not.....lauch a complain on the TRAI web site...& do metion to BSNL local office that ur going form TRAI & consumer court.....just warn them(just giving warning is not harmful).....they have to serve u....what if u have problem at ur end......they have to clear all things......

i guess the DNS remains the same all over 4 BSNL (some1 correct me if m mistaking )

    DNS for Dataone :
    Primary DNS : 218.248.255.145
    Secondary DNS : 61.1.96.71
& in the primary IP u fill 192.168.1.X

    subnet mask is 255.255.255.0 default

    Default gateway is 192.168.1.1

at the time of the installation they give u :
    1. Modem + CD + Manaul (if available in printed form..generally its in cd in .pdf...but CD is must)
    2. A Paper which contains every details of ur BB connection i.e. ID & Pass,Phone No., Plan, DNS Settings & some other stuff.

the the person installing, ask ur sign on the carbon copy of the above said paper. (have u given any such) ur sign indicates that everything is fine for consumer.

lastly u can change the password for ur connection on the usage check URL :

    http://10.240.240.195

but after changing the pass here u have to feed the same pass in the modem configuration.........if not entered the BB stops working.
