Exclamation Help:Settings for Wireless connection in WA3002-g1 Wireless ADSL Router

Someone, Please give me the settings for configuring Wifi connection in UTSTARCOM WA3002-g1 Wireless ADSL Router. I use it to connect to my Nokia N91. It connects to my N91, but the page doesn't open and it shows "Services : No gateway reply!".
Please tell me what to do?

When you connect N91 to the router, do you get an IP address assigned to N91?

Yes. N91 will get an automatic IP address. This IP address must be given to it by the DHCP Server in the wireless modem. So on the N91's wireless connection page, check whether N91 gets the IP address after it has connected.

Modem does not connect to N91 or anything - rather it is the N91 (and other devices) that will connect to modem. As soon as a device connects successfully to the modem, it gets an IP address from DHCP (if the device setting are set for automatic IP address).

Your wireless settings in the modem may not be configured properly.

Please tell me where to look for the IP address in my N91. I cannot open the access point while it is connected.

Bridge mode will not work because bridge mode allows only one connection at a time. All other connections will have to go through the PC by sharing the internet connection. Try configuration in PPPoE mode.

Note: Wireless security by MAC address filtering is fine but WPA - TKIP is better.

Please remove MAC Address filtering from wireless router and implement WPA-TKIP security. My sticky posts in BSNL forums explain how. Also this article may help you: Nokia N95 - "No Gateway Reply" - Here Is How I Fixed It!
