Thread: How to disable ZoneAlarm firewall and PeerGuardian?

I heard from one of you that we can increase the torrent speed by disabling zonealarm firewall and peerguardian. Can anyone tel me how to do that?

i dont think so that disabling zonealarm can increase ur download speed. it is the number of seeds in a torrent that increase ur downlload speed. larger the seeds faster the downloads....

FINE.. But some time im seeing 0 seeds and 0 peers.. in that case how the first seeder will start?? Please reply.. im getting always 0 peers 0 seeds for my download...

To disable zonealarm, just right click on the zonealarm button on your system tray and there you will see shutdown the zonealarm, just click it and confirm it and it will be closed temporarily.

the thing is.. i dont fine zonealarm in my system tray.. only time & calendr is there...

It means there is no firewall running on u r PC..............Have u installed zone alarm at all...............

Yes man... my firewall is turned off and yes.. i have not installed zone alarm..
