Thread: Torrent:You People should help me

You people are telling u r all getting 150KBps ino torrent. just check the attached image.. what should i do??? please please reply frds....

didn't you tried the torrents i mentioned in my other posts.you won't get speeds with such low no. of seeders & peers.try fedora/openoffice/ubuntu torrents.test with torrents which have atleast 500peers with 300 or more seeders.on latest fedora/openoffice/ubuntu torrents you can get 2000-3000 peers & 1000seeders or more.

the torrent sites which whitestar_999 has mentioned are only meant for downloading specific softwares not the whole lexicon of softwares and games(i think i am correct).
@arun i downloaded a game of 3.24 GB from u-torrent for which it took two days
i.e. i had to switch on my laptop for two continous days so you can imagine how fast speed i am getting in u-torrent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you need patience a lot of patience when downloading big softwares or games

i tried wat u said.. but its not satisfing my xpectation. If i want to download a movie.. i will go to torrentz.com n would search for movie and it will show two or many possible line,through that link i will download the movie... I xpected the same thing in fedora/openoffice/ubuntu torrents as u said.. but i couldnt find anything.. correct me if im doing wrong thing..

i think u have UL plan...after getting ur PM saying 150KBps.. yesterday night i started to download a 700MB movie from torrentz(as u said).. but it was indication 0.2KBps... bliv me.. from 2-8AM it downloaded only 56MB...

If possible whitestar.. playr.. can u help me on this

i use bridge mode & i too get the same error while executing the script.it stuck after login & won't reboot the modem.it seems that every modem has some specific command for reboot & i haven't find one for my modem yet so sorry friend.

try mininova & go to axxo movies section.try those which have a large no. of seeders & peers.this info is mentioned on right hand side in front of torrent.

Yeah, as whitestar said, try mininova.org which is very good torrent site.

Always try to download torrents with a large number of seeds. Say you have a torrent which has some 500 seeds & 2000 peers, its a good torrent but not the best. If it has 500 seeds & 80 odd peers, it definitely gives you maximum speeds.

i am downloading from exdesi and dctorrent these are excellent.

Also check the torrentbits.ro (excellent speeds) but mainly softwares and english movies.

what speed are u getting from these sites and have u made any extra configurations to ur client softwares

from exdesi and dctorrent i get above 150 kBps.
Also all the latest movies (Pre DVDRip) are available within 5-6 days.

Torrentbits is an excellent site. I am getting 225 - 280 kBps speeds.
