Thread: password change and usage check

Hi,my dear friends,
I had my dataone broadband connection few days back from bsnl,Jamshedpur.Since first day I am trying to change my password and want to check my usage.several calls were made to bsnl broadband help line number 1600 424 1600.People manning at this number told me several site addresses,links and methods but nothing practically working,no site is opening.Local bsnl people(who works in bsnl broadband) expressed their inability to solve my problem,even they don't know abcd of internet.
can any body guide me the right way to change my password.how to check my usage?.Is portalId and UserId both are same?

If ur IP Address is of the Order 117...... (Check the Modem/Router Settings Page) then the following site should help

I am using SIEMENS modem model C2110

try to open config. page by typing 192.168.1.1 in your internet browser

for siemens c2110 modem
default username---"admin"
default password---"admin"

Open Internet Explorer and enter 192.168.1.1

There click on Configuration>Internet

Under Connection (0/35) U will see ur IP Address.

Also for getting ur Poral ID Contant Local Exchange People or Customer Care.
