Probably something wrong with your configuration.. ??Check whether your phone line to the modem is working.. Make sure you entered the correct username/password.. username should be username@dataone.in ..
Give more details about your current configuration..

PS:be careful while displaying your mobile phone no on the internet..Very dangerous!!!

    cheers...

No. Just use your 'username' without the '@dataone.in' suffix.

There are many guides in this forum for configuration of UT-300R2U. You can choose the Bridge mode or PPPoE mode.

I am using without the suffix. So I guess, it works both ways but probably depends upon the modem also.

Were you addressing me? If yes, my BSNL modem is UT-300R2U (configured in PPPoE mode) and I have Linksys WRT54G (configured in Auto DHCP mode). The settings are described in some of my sticky posts (guides) in this forum.

Just look at the 'sticky' posts in this forum on how to configure and setup - there are couple of them. Just refer to the sections dealing with UT-300R2U in those guides ...

Linksys WRT54G is a wireless router and is meant for wireless networking. You don't need it. From the guides, just follow the steps till you reach Linksys related stuff. You should be all set.
