Thumbs down Bsnl Is Too Slow For Online Gaming

    Hi,

Ive been a (home 500) bsnl user in kolkata for the past 5-6 months and ive notcied currently that inspite of its good download speeds the pings are way to high (normally 600-900) which is too slow for playing multiplayer games.

Even after complaining the problem is yet unsolved, does any1 else is experiencing high latency's while playing multiplayer games or do i need to open any ports or do any modem settings??

    Please help...

    OpenDNS | Providing A Safer And Faster Internet , their server ip's are 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220 ,

"I've forwarded ports 2300-2400 TCP & UDP and port 47624 TCP.",
This is what i found on the internet regarding opening ports for AOE

Ya, this happens to me as well. It happens when you join a server which is hosted by a different ISP like Airtel etc... You shud play a BSNL server for a lag free perfect game.
