I am in US currently and using the wi-fi service at the hotel. There is no way I can do port-forwarding here. Even without forwarded ports, I am getting decent downloads (15~30 KB/s) and astonishingly high uploads (> 250 KB/s). Are you guys aware of any tips and tricks to get my download rate up?

Good thing about high upload rate is that my share ratio is over 2.5.

You need to find the torrent file first. Using Google, do a search as follows:

"<song name or artist or group>" torrent, e.g., "Linkin Park" torrent.

(use the quotes also above in Google search).

Once google returns the search results, click on the link. There will be a torrent file. Download the .torrent file and add it to uTorrent.

Alternately you can also search the torrent portals such mininova or piratebay, etc.
