At least you could have entered the problem in your own words !

.Instead of repeating Post No .1 of @mandeep.
So solution also I have to copy /paste. from Post .No 2. !!!!
give feedback whether you tried it or not.
    |[ śŷкez's Blog ]|: Generic Host Process for Win32 Service Error

    In simple words
    1.go to SAFE Mode.
    2.Disable System Restore.
    3. Run Antivirus anti spy applications.
    4.Give a feedback.
    After above step:
5.Disable all application/s at Start up,
    and connect to Internet.
    6. If error message does not appear
7.enable each application one by one..
When the corrupted application is enabled
    the error may appear again.

    Give feedback.. Number wise.
If still problem is seen, other solutions like registry cleaning, specific AV program etc
    have to be considered.

Confirm you have Windows OS Installation disk and the version used. .

I too had this same problem after a fresh install of xp two days back.....
I thought the problem was with my bitdefender......
What I did was I restored to an earlier time and installed this patch from Microsoft......... They say they problem is with XP-SP2..........
Try this patch after a restore operation to a working state or a fresh install.......
You receive a "Generic Host Process" error message after you start the computer, or DBCS attachment file names are not displayed in Rich Text e-mail messages

Install the patch which matches your need........
I took Windows XP, 32-bit versions patch...........

    Hope this helps...........
