Thread: Bsnl Broadband Setting Of Dataone Zte Zxdsl 531b Modem

Hello everyone,
i am writing this post because i myself found very difficult when i was doing setting of my own connection.
So i have decided to write a blog on this topic so everyone can able to use that blog.


1. Check the orange light of DSL link of modem.(If it is not connect your telephone line directly without using white box(converter).
2. Click on start->run-> type here “ 192.168.1.1 –t” and check whether ping is replying or not, if it is replying than we can say that your modem is working properly,
3. Open your internet explorer and write 192.168.1.1 on address bar
4. Give username ->admin & password->admin.
5. Now click on advanced setting in left hand side toolbar
6. Then click on “WAN”
7. Now click on edit
8. You have to set two ports 0 & 35.
9. Click on next
10. Select bridging at the place poope
11. Now click on next until the message called “close the internet explorer for two minutes”
12. Follow this instruction
13. No w make new connection
14. Follow the basic steps of broadband connection
15. Now give username and password given by bsnl
16. Connect it to internet and enjoy

Hi This is Ronald. I have made my ZTE ZXDSL 531B modem reset. Now am unable to user internet. Please if some one having the setting please let me know.
