Rep Power: 2 | hi everybody i have 5 pcs in my office. i have 1 zte router provided by bsnl and i already had dlink di-524 wireless router. right now i have connect my zte to one of the lan port of di-524. the bsnl people told me that we are suppose to use it in pppoe mode only and not by bridging as it is not authorised. i have given the ip 192.168.1.2 to di-524 and 192.168.1.x to my pcs in the office. i have also put the defauld gateway as 192.168.1.1 and dns & alt. dns as 61.1.96.69 & 61.1.96.71. ever thing is working fine right now. is this setup correct technically |

Rep Power: 5 | yes, but its always recommended to place the dlink's ip address outside the dhcp range of the bsnl modem |
