Rep Power: 5 |  dude, i dont think its required!!!your modem is supposed to connect you to the internet and also provide functions like DHCP,DNS,port forwarding etc... if these work properly why do you need a firmware upgrade...just cause its old .. its not necessary... it wont turn into a wireless router after firmware upgrade  ...and besides a lot have connectivity problems after upgrading firmware...it depends!! |
