many proxy sites by default don't allow java scripts to run because of security concerns & that is why you are getting above messages.many proxy sites though provides various options before you click on surf after entering the site address & in those options you have to select"enable java script/scripts".

some proxy sites hides various options which may confuse sites like hotmail.e.g.referrer information, cookie support etc.i just open hotmail through this proxy site--http://www.ninjaproxy.com/
i unchecked the options-"no referrer" while"no cookies"was already unchecked.i login with a wrong ID & got the error msg as i don't have a hotmail account.

It seems like the hotmail site itself was down. I guess microsoft has rectified it now. Do check and login now to see if it is okay now or not!

go here Download Free Java Software - Sun Microsystems & download the latest java updates & then see if it helps.you may have to restart your computer after installing this.

try changing to OPEN DNS servers.. they can help.. go to your modem's configuration page(192.168.1.1 username and password is admin by default)... then look for an option called DNS.. u shud find it somewhere.. then there might be an option saying "get DNS servers from ISP" uncheck that and enter the following 2 ips
    208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220
Bsnl DNS servers are normally overloaded due to large no of subscribers. .hence it could slow down your internet connection..give this a shot.. may help!!

just to try do not use these open dns server addresses & just select"get DNS address automatically" in modem &/or computer.

from what i understand you can not open these sites but can open them while using proxies, right?try different browsers, say, firefox, internet explorer, opera & see what happens.if you get any error msg post it here.also did you try my suggestion of using proxy sites with "enable referrer","enable cookies" etc.

well it depends.. virus does damage.. so if somebody creates a script which automatically logs into your computer and changes your acc details or open ports etc etc then that script is a virus.. so yea its possible.. to be on the safe side you cannot put an antivirus in there but you can secure it by changing the default password!!!
