Thread: Now BSNL is blocking Downloads?

Ok , This problem is happening since 4 days i have downloading this game and its still stuck on 80 percent First It came to mind something was wrong on second day it downloaded another 20 percent and some files not even finsihed in the downloadmanager so today i kept waking throught midnight to see what happens and at 3.45 it stopped downloading i restarted my comp it started downloading again but after few minutes it stopped so restarting 6 times it made me download to 50 percent a i have published this topic on every bsnl forum. anyone has this problem occurring please post it here.

Can u let us know ...from where are u downloading the game ...and is it via any peer ...or is it a direct link ....
Cos if its a direct link then ..it may be the case that those servers from where ur downloading it may be busy most of the times ....hence ...ur download got slowed down......
But i dont think that BSNL may block the downloads ....cos u seem to have an unlimited connetion right ...so there is no point in even monitoring what ur downloading from BSNL's point of view......

Well few days bak i was downloading the movie from the RapisShare .......i also faced the same problem like urs...........@ 99 % it used to hang..i tried it like for 4-5 days in a row & then i gave up.........but i really don't think BSNl ppl are that smart to detect ppl are downloading the warez...

its definetly the problem of the server where you are downloading from!!!cause if you can download till 99% then it cannot be bsnl's fault!!

No issues for me. I have been using torrents during the night time unlimited 500 c combo plan and found no issues at all with downloads. It could from the site you are downloading try downloading it from alternative sites and see.

I have come to conclusion that the connection drop or slow speed is due to AVG 8 anti virus.can someone who is using old version of AVG download AVG 8 (grisoft dot com) and check if the speeds drop while browsing or download?preferably from the limited plan users.and forgot to tell you one thing make sure you uncheck the linkscanner in AVG 8 and disable it on Firefox if you use FF from addons or the bandwidth will run at superman speed.
