the wifi network is unsecured, i want to secured it by network key so noone use my network without my permmission...

first log onto routers control panel(192.168.1.1) then in the wireless tab go to security then enter the type of security which you want then enter your key there

m still confuse, thr r many options thr not clear with is ideal....
pls give some detail..
i jst want security enabled network.......
there should be some option in wireless configuration like "WEP method".click on it & select key which will be the password if anyone want to connect to wifi system.click on "apply" & then restart modem/router.test this by trying to connect to wifi & a window should come up asking for key/password.test that by only entering the correct key/password you can connect.
