Rep Power: 0  |  how to creat secured wireless network.... hello guys........ i have bsnl type 4 modem with wifi connectivity........ the wifi network is unsecured, i want to secured it by network key so noone use my network without my permmission... my OS is XP....... |

Rep Power: 3  |  first log onto routers control panel(192.168.1.1) then in the wireless tab go to security then enter the type of security which you want then enter your key there |

| Platinum Member  | there should be some option in wireless configuration like "WEP method".click on it & select key which will be the password if anyone want to connect to wifi system.click on "apply" & then restart modem/router.test this by trying to connect to wifi & a window should come up asking for key/password.test that by only entering the correct key/password you can connect. |
