    Post connecting netgear wireless router WGR614 to dataone broadband router MT841 router

    Hi,

    Does anybody know how to connect netgear WGR614 V4 with dataone BB router MT841. dataone router is already configured for autodialing. I am facing problems when I connect my netgear wireless router. It is getting disconnected aftre some time....and I need to reboot the router everytime.
    ...Please help me out

    connect your bsnl modem to the LAN port of your netgear....since you have already enabled dialing.. it should work!!

    Yes. Connect the two routers using the LAN cable and configure the Netgear in Automatic DHCP (bridge) mode. DHCP on MT841 must be ON.

    Enable WPA wireless security on your Netgear router.

    Hi Guys...thnx!!....I have already enabled DHCP both on MT841 and Netgear...but I have not enabled the WPA on netgear...let me try that...

    Connect it this way, from one of the lan ports of mt841 to the adsl port of netgear wgr614 using a lan cable

    let me add one more thing that you should connect the BSNL modem to the router(Netgear) using a crossover LAN cable as there are two variants one is a straight cable and another one is a cross over cable............so you need a cross over cable to route your internet connection if you are connecting the router using a straight cable then you will not be able to browse net
