Default Is BSNL broadband expensive ?

I've was just read reading BSNL tariff plans & found that they apply telephone charges as wel. Isn't this works the same way as Dial-Up ? Will my telephone go high by keeping broadband in 'Always On' condition, OR even using it to the max limit of 1GB ?

No. This is completely different from dial-up. Broadband is separate and Voice is separate.

When you connect to BB, only BB charges apply. You are not using voice when you connect to BB. But excess usage chanrges will apply in case of exceeding the GB limits.

Voice charges apply for using normal telephone calls only.

plz.. god's sake dont compare bb with dial up... everything is good.. download,speed,money....

see... if u r using dial up and u r using it for 24 hrs a day.. and u can download only some 400mb in a month.. and think about ur landline bill... u should give ur property to bsnl if u do like that.. but in bb.. u can download max of 2.5 GB for 500Rs... and think about the speed... in dial up u will get 2kBps.. here u can get 250KBps.. so.. jus go for it.. anyhow.. nice avatr...
