    Default Feedback on modem

    Hi,

    I am new to this forum and have applied for bsnl broadband connection.
    Please send me your views/feeback on using the bsnl modem (Type1) or any pointers on using other modem (pl. mention specification/make).

    Also any other considerations for the configuration i should consider.

    Appeciate swift suggetions.

    Without looking at your post, I wrote this thread: http://www.indiabroadband.net/bsnl-b...-combined.html (Wired Modem/router + Wireless router or both combined?)

    When you applied for BSNL modem you will not get any choice of make/model. But you can expect (?) support from BSNL for at least a year. Most likely the Type I modem will be UT-300R2U which is fairly good in my opinion.
