    Arrow SIEMENS C2110 reset always!!!!!! admin help me!!!

    recently i got siemens c2110 form bsnl but i m facing reset problem to it,means always when i switch it on it automatically reset to its default factory settings therefor i if i want to use net i have to manually connect net by go through 192.168.1.1
    i toll bsnl customer care about the problem but they do not now anything about it ...so plz help me to set my modem to auto dialer so i have to simply switch the modem and start surfing .............

    After configuration and setup of the modem, you must save the settings and reboot the modem. That is probably the issue. Simple click on 'Apply' or 'Save Settings', etc. will not really save the settings to the flash memory of the modem - rather it will be saved for the session only.

    i click on apply but after i again start the modem all the think or settings which i changed set to default......it does'nt save in modems flash memory so how can i save it......

    are you using USB or LAN interface?

    something is indeed strange with these c2110 models.i tried changing the line support mode from "none" to "ADSL2" just to test but after clicking on apply & then restarting the modem settings changed back to previous one.i am using both--lan & usb interface.

    yea, similar problems for me too.. but it seemed to work a little better with LAN interface..whatever setting i do with USB interfact didnt stick.. but with LAN sometimes it works...strange!!!
