Thread: forgot login password for accessign modem

Can anybody help me regarding recovering lost password to log onto ZXDSL 531B modem's settings. It's USER name is admin which is not changeable but i forgot the pass..plz. dont ask me reset the switch..

There may be some utilities over the net. You do not wish to reset the modem and I can well understand but reconfiguration is easy after a reset. All you need is the BSNL username and password (I hope that you have not lost that also).

only method is brute forcing & it will take time depending upon how long was your password.it would be far easier to reset.

what s problem with resetting the modem ?
